Pau Gasol, International Ambassador of Solan

Pau Gasol took advantage of his trip to China to sign an agreement with Solan through which becomes global brand ambassador.

The President of Osborne, the group of Solan, Thomas Osborne, took part of the celebrations of the Day of Spain in the Shanghai World Expo to announce the news in the Spanish pavilion next to Pau Gasol.

The agreement will initially be valid for three years until August 2013 and aims to support the recent internationalization of the company. This partnership reinforces Solan linking sport and all things related to healthy lifestyles.

Solan products will begin trading this fall in the U.S. and the international projection of the NBA player has been key to his appointment as International Ambassador.

According to Juan Manuel Morales, general director of Solan, "this partnership with one of the most internationally acclaimed Spanish icons, we reinforce our belief in making of Solan an internationally recognized brand, with huge potential to conquer consumers around the world. The example of Pau became a landmark of our country through his global success, has inspired us. Therefore, the best is to join this personality who embodies the values of sport and healthy living, to accept the challenge of making of Solan the first Spanish international brand".
