Wade, Carter sitting out Heat-Suns game

PHOENIX (AP) - The Miami Heat and Phoenix Suns are without two of their biggest stars.Heat guard Dwyane Wade was sidelined Thursday night because of a sore left knee and Vince Carter, one of Phoenix´s three new players, was out with the same problem.Wade was injured in Monday´s loss to Dallas when he banged knees with Mavericks point guard Jason Kidd. His status for Miami´s game on Christmas against the Los Angeles Lakers is uncertain.Carter, who came to Phoenix in a six-player trade with Orlando on Sunday, has been bothered by a nagging injury that he worried earlier in the week might require surgery. He was relieved to learn surgery wasn´t needed, but isn´t sure when he´ll return.
